Everyone has different experiences with Renown or Experience in-game. Some people don't fully understand how to gain Renown / Experience easy while still getting the max amount of it. This thread is designed for everyone who needs to know about Renown and experience for themselves or to create something for it, etc.


What is Renown?

Renown is currency in-game. You earn Renown from completing Situations, Terrorist Hunt, and Multiplayer. Whether you win or lose a game, you'll still earn a lot or a little. Renown is server-sided, so is anything to do with it will most likely be server-sided.


What is Experience?

Experience is a type of currency that earns out to turn into Renown, the more Exp you get the more Renown you earn. Getting Experience is not difficult, you get it from, destroying enemy equipment, killing enemies, breaching reinforced walls, using specials, etc.

Max experience per game is 5000

5000 experience = 300 Renown (base Renown without boosters, season pass, or challenges completed)


How do I get minimum or maximum Renown?

Get more kills, play a different difficulty, destroy enemy equipment.


The minimum / maximum Renown you can get is :

300 (No Season Pass, Booster, Challenges)

315 (With Season Pass, No Booster, No Challenges Completed)

450 (No Season Pass, No Booster, At Least One Challenge Completed)

450 (No Season Pass, Booster, No Challenges Completed)

465 (Season Pass, No Booster, At Least One Challenge Completed)

615 (Season Pass, Booster, At Least One Challenge Completed)

615< (Season Pass, Booster, Multiple Challenges Completed)


Renown Cooldowns / Max Earnings

Everything eventually stops for a certain amount of time, when playing many games at a time while still earning maximum Renown, the Ubisoft servers will stop your Renown earnings. This is only temporary and is a cooldown.

Any Renown Cooldown is 24 hours

If you have a bot that earns Renown off of max score for a few hours and you stop earning Renown, then you've gave yourself a 24 hour cooldown.

The Renown cap per day is 25,000, as well as a 24 hour cooldown.

The max games per day to get 25,000 Renown is 78 games (while having score set to 5000 which is the max score per game)

How lonely wolf games work? I speak client-server. Is there any way to get banned? because if ubisoft day statistics collected by users who gain 5 levels per day with a salary of 25,000 does not generate suspicion? one can not be banned? no one ever had a problem?

Didn't you say it was 4200 xp for 300 renown? That's how it is from my experience as well.

Did extensive farming these days, and found that you reach the experience cap about 25 rounds earlier than the renown cap (yes I sat there and watched). Nothing else to add. Make good use of this to level up a bit slower.

thanks op. just bought the game and this clears up everything i was wondering about renown.

Seems like there is a set hour to reset the cooldown on the renown. i've farmed 25k about 10 hours ago and i am getting renown again now.

What's with the EXP limit? While farming I reached a limit when I was gaining 0 Exp and 300 Renowns.
