Account database
I was thinking of making a website which allowed users to create accounts, and submit them to my website. Then, other users would have the ability to login to this website, and 'checkout' accounts. Once an account has been checked out, it is no-longer accessible by other users. With a 15 minute wait before one user can checkout another account.

I might be able to write some php or perl scripts to auto-register accounts to a website. Which the server would execute periodically.

Pretty much, what I'm saying is, this would be convenient for both the hackers of MPGH, and the user's of the hacks. If you're like me, when you're hacking in a game, you're not doing it to level. You're doing it to piss the living SHIT out off all the other players, and get their reactions. Unfortunately, once you're banned, it's not worth reregistering. And if you're creating hacks, if you get banned due to a fault in your project, it is also a pain reregistering.

Anyways. I started this morning using the modules I already wrote for greg's blogging site. It's pretty much done(aside from the auto-register). And it is still just a prototype.

Any suggestions, ideas, or comments?

I'm aware it's a dumb idea, but it took me like two hours to write, so why not?(Greg home page). I did the php and all the other pages.

I don't personally see any productive applications for this.
Well, it'd be similar to bugmenot. Only, a little more advanced. And bugmenot seems to be doing fine.

btw I can't locate any account generators. I'm sure they exist though.

Thanks for your comments. It only took me like two hours to write, because I already wrote the modules I needed when I was doing greg's blogging site. I'll launch it, see how it does, and take according action.

Soh, idc if it turns out a bad idea or not.
does it work for linux?
