Amazon .CA refund wants item returned
I made an order on amazon in the beginning of April for a monitor that totaled around 400$, I tried to get it refunded and a user on here botched it (leaving names out because I don't know the rules). A week or so later from that I talked to a different refunder who told me he could try to fix the botched refund, he ended up not being able to get a refund but he got me a second item. I thought that was good enough and I paid him for the service because it was better than nothing. I noticed after paying him that it said that they wanted the item back but after talking to the refunder/making a thread on here everyone said that it was common to still get that.

Amazon just emailed me today saying that they are still waiting for the item and if they wont receive it in a week they're going to charge me for two of the items. What should I do? I can't talk to them because I don't know what they said the issue was with the monitor. I still have both, Did I get scammed from the second refunder and have to send an item back?

Thanks to anyone who can help out with this situation
Talk to your second refunder and tell him about the e-mail and let him see if he can fix it or explain to you what he did.

Also, I'm guessing that if an e-mail came from amazon asking for both products back or you will be charged, I think it's safe to assume that exactly that will happen. It is a strange and curious situation though.

Have you checked your account and orders (for both items) to see what the current status says?
If they charge you first throw the receipt or whatever they send you in the bin but if they keep messaging you then just give the second item back if you want :/
Just return the item. I would anyway, You don't wanna get billed $400 and if you don't pay that more serious stuff will happen. If you want to be on the safe side return the monitor.
