So, my girlfriend decided she wanted to give her iPhone swimming lessons...
Since her phone is broken, I hope someone can SE a new one.

My suggestion would be to purchase it off of Amazon and then contact one of the refunders to have it refunded. Actually social engineering Apple is a whole other rodeo, something monotonous and un-needed when you can simply refund Amazon for it.

But with Amazons new policy's etc its a lot harder and what if it fails?

But yes, it depends. I seen an iPhone SE 64 GB sold by some company but fulfilled by Amazon.
