Im a 2nd time offender, got a 1mo ban.
Usually it's 1. 10 days 2. 1 month 3. Permanently but the severity also is a thing more severe hacks / cheats (f.e disrupting the peace online) might get you banned longer or even instantly you get permanently banned!
I got a 10 day ban at first, last year around Christmas & New Years and today, I just got banned after 30/6/2016, so it's another 10 day ban for me. So it might be that you lose one of these penalty-levels a year?
