As the title says , does people still play mw2 or have everyone moved on to BO3 ?

yes, mw2 is alive. not as much as a few years back but its ok.
What private servers are people playing on? I used to play on AlterIW but it seems to have disappeared.
It's definitely still alive and well. Steam pulls tons of people daily, I myself host modded lobbies and people seem to enjoy it. Definitely still an active, albeit slightly small playerbase.
