Command Prompt
What is the Command Prompt you can put in to make sure it has deleted the files.

A while back my friend showed me a command prompt on this website that hides/deletes the files that you may have downloading to your computer and not a usb drive/ thumb drive.

Thank you

Thanks, couldn't de-crypt what he said
idk if this is right but after years of decoding the cryptic language i think he is asking if there is a command prompt command to make sure files that you deleted are actually deleted not just hidden

If what you say is correct then what he's looking for is the 'dir' command. I'm not too familiar with MS DOS but I think that should be the equivalent to ls -a or at least ls in linux.
