I have been handling scam reports for a little while now, and see somewhat similar trends from time to time. There are users who open up services that are eligible on MPGH. Users that have 100+ posts, at least a month on the site. They begin taking peoples orders in mass, and take in a lot of money. They give a wait time longer than normal, to collect more orders and more money, and users continue buying their service. Eventually the user ends up running away with all the money.

How to avoid being a victim of this
When looking at a new service on MPGH, please wait for more than one vouch copy if you want to be safe. A person starting a service can easily do a vouch copy to one member to look legit, and then blow off the rest of the orders and run with buyers money. Buyers are usually in a mental state of "I want this now!" which leads to quick, and rash decisions that you may end up regretting. Wait for more vouch copies, be patient. It will be beneficial to you in the long run.

I keep seeing people order more and more without seeing any vouches from members who are not reputable yet. Had to make this. Hopefully people will see it before buying though.

Hopefully the mpgh community will become better as a whole. Maybe one day there will be no scammers.

Can it not be mandatory to only use paypal? I know it's not that popular due to chargebacks but it's the only safe method that offers buyer and seller protection.

A good seller will be obliged to fulfil the order or buyer will open a dispute, if a buyer unnecessarily opens a dispute then the seller has to show the tracking number to be covered.

The only way to be truly safe is by purchasing from trusted mpgh users with high reputation and vouches from admins and others and by using paypal, new sellers can easily give several legit vouches if they want then scam the rest of the buyers.

IP's should also be checked before they make a selling thread instead of checking after they have made a thread cause many banned users just make new accounts then come back and do the same.

This is spot on. The thing people don't get is that being eligible doesn't make them trusted.
