❓ Questions about finding base address
Hello folks ,
Iam currently working on my own csgo hack, but i have some problems that I can't seem to fix alone.

First problem:
How do I know from which module(.dll) I need to get the base address from? I know that it is the client.dll for csgo, but why? And how could I figured that out on my own?

Second problem:
I wrote a function that gets the base address of the desired .dll, but it can't find the client.dll in csgo.exe.

Example:
Code:
void showModules()
{
    HANDLE mod = CreateToolhelp32Snapshot(TH32CS_SNAPMODULE,procID);
    MODULEENTRY32 entry;
    entry.dwSize = sizeof(MODULEENTRY32);

    while(Module32Next(mod,&entry)) {
        std::cout << "Modules in process: " << entry.szModule << std::endl;
    }
}
Output:
Code:
Modules in process: csgo.exe
Modules in process: ntdll.dll
Modules in process: wow64.dll
Modules in process: wow64win.dll
Modules in process: wow64cpu.dll
Does someone know what am I doing wrong?

Third problem:
Even if i would found the the client.dll, I cant return the base address as DWORD.

Code:
return (DWORD)entry.modBaseAddr
My compiler says that it would lose precision to return a BYTE*(entry.modBaseAddr) as DWORD

Error:
Code:
error: cast from 'BYTE* {aka unsigned char*}' to 'DWORD {aka unsigned int}' loses precision [-fpermissive] return (DWORD)entry.modBaseAddr;
Hope someone can help me with my problems and have a good day!
Iam an idiot. I compiled my project with a 64bit compiler , that was the problem.
