account cracking

i hope i have posted in the right place lol but here goes. am i wasting my time with email pass combo lists that do be posted on other forums etc and the free proxies for cracking accounts? is it best buying the combo list and proxies or is there a better way? i know about dorks but havent figured that 1 out yet lol

dorks are for SQLing, if you can't even find proxies then leave the dorks and the SQL thingy.
Go to Google and type SSL Proxy.

i can find free proxies ok but just never have any luck when using them with a combolist with sentry. the proxys always come up banned lol
