Amazon refund question

So I was supposed to receive my package today but apparently Amazon called DHL and told them to reschedule my delivery to Thursday

I contacted them asking why they did that :

me : my order seems to be rescheduled based on my instruction
even though i did not contact DHL to reschedule my delivery
Jose: You didn't, but we did to ensure proper delivery. The delivery date remains the same. The package will be delivered this Thursday July 21.
me : Can't i get it earlier? it's only like 5kms away from me
Jose: You might get it earlier but I couldn't guarantee you will. We have to stick to the delivery date we promised at checkout when you placed the order, but it's most likely you'll get it sooner...

Everytime i use the " The box is empty but there is a receipt and those air pouch things that protects the item" method and it seems to work

Do you think it might not work this time or like they are suspecting me and that's why they rescheduled it?
