Help with cheat engine 5.3!!!!

plz help i am trying my first hack on the cheat engine with the ammo and for some reason everytime i find the value and change the bullet number it changes to the +990 of the ammo and then it changes back........ can you help me?

u know how to use a dissasembaler and assmerbaler?

huh? lol i have no idea what that is...... if you dont want to explain can you link me to a Tut? the one that comes with it barely makes sense
