Do you own a pet what is it & How do you train it?
I have a Maltese male puppy (5 months), I started to teach him sit & lay down. Using some YouTube tutorials and spent a lot of time, but he is just so stupid and stubborn. He won't listen if I don't have a treat, sometimes if I say sit and then lay down he will just stare at me and waits for the treat without actually laying down. I months honestly just trying to teach him sit and lay down but he doesn't get it.
Info about my puppy:
-This is my very own first pet.
-He is ultra active and hyper.
-Stubborn, and doesn't listen or focus with me.
-Loves to kindly bite without hurting "I hate that".
-It's name is "Peanut". *I call it Peanut in English "no translation from Arabic to English" it's just Peanut !"
Well. I have a Husky and his name is Boba. Husky's are fairly smart but very stubborn. He's now smart and listens to commands like sit, roll, paw, and play dead! It was easy to train boba and also a bit challenging if that makes sense lol. I always gave boba treats when I train him. A very important tip is that you always want to establish yourself as the alpha. "Maltese thrive in obedience commands and performing tricks. Train the Maltese with positive reinforcement but be firm and consistent showing strong pack leadership" Maltese puppies are much easier to house train and more cooperative than most toy breeds. I recommend you to also youtube Clicker training. Basic obedience training commands such as sit, down, come, stay, down and leash walking are all easily grasped by Maltese puppies. Maltese puppies love obedience training sessions as it is time spent with you and it provides them with some much needed physical and mental stimulation. Hope this Helped and good luck with training peanut!
Only suggestion use what the dog likes or dislikes to your advantage, sooner or later it will learn or do or not do that thing and listen to your command.
i wish i had a dog :^(
I have a dog that I adopted a couple years ago. I used to take him to dog training classes.
It's good to teach them at a younger age, cause when they get older, it's harder to get them to learn.
I have a four year old dog named Nina Tucker, but I don't really think it is one bc I used alchemy to transmute my friend and the dog together.
I have 2 cats, they don't give a fuck about anything so..

OMG YOU HAVE ONE OF THOSE CATS WHERE THEY HAVE THE LITTLE WHITE MUSTACHE UNDER THE LITTLE NOSE UGHHHHHHH
But seriously I have a cat and I barely need to take care of her. She kills like 5 birds every day and takes care of the snake problem around my house. My family's taken her to the vet a lot because she doesn't know how to meow though. She just kind of des a high pitched squeal and it's adorable. I don't know if this really helps, but I mainly posted to tell @Summer that I'm jealous of his adorable cats q-q
