What languages should I start with if I want to start developing exploits / hacks?

Most of what I've seen is written in C# or C++ sometimes VB.

So I assume I should start off with C# > VB > C++ ?

EDIT: Is there any point to learning VB if I've already learned C#?

Basically any programming language that can access the system so not java but C++ I would think is the best but don't quote me on this

If you want to learn C++ I would pick up either a book or some sort of online tutorial, if you take the book route I would recommend C++ Primer plus 6th edition..

Is this the first language you've learned? Other than C# that is.

How long have you been working with C#? Its not good to jump languages really quickly before actually grasping them.

Python is good and it's actually preferred by many (Elliot on 'Mr. Robot'); it's a clear language in which you can do a lot of things. However, you will need to spend a long time learning it if you want to master it. It's best, actually, to learn all five of Python, C/C++, Java, Perl, and LISP. Besides being the most important hacking languages, they represent very different approaches to programming, and each will educate you in valuable ways.
