specific account hacking

is it possible to target specific email accounts in yahoo and crack them? For instance if i have an email account and dont know its password, is there a way to still get access?

Well you can either use a giant ass password list and try to crack it that way using a account checker and shit load of threads, or you can try and SE Yahoo if you have any information on the email, such as name, date created, emails in it, etc.

Yeah as Aaron says, you could try use hydra on linux, as that is very fast, but you will need to get a lot of wordlists to test on the email. If its Yahoo, you can request access to the email by contacting them and using information about the email to pretend you are the real owner and have forgotten your password.
