Your github decision is absolutely terrible

You are expecting people to not put any any link at all to any thread

You are expecting people to visit thread and update source code manually with a lot of pain each time the code is updated

Assume that there are 10 forums like this the developer post

And in return? nothing that the developer benefit

So please explain to me logically and convince me why should i bother so much?
