edit: Yep it's true: *Edit * Along with the teleportation restriction. Unnamed accounts will no longer receive SB loot.
Less than a month into 'owning' the game and DECA fixes multiboxing. They also killed unnamed NPE accounts, which kinda sucks too.

I have never multi-boxed but I never had anything against it in rotmg, they might "steal" loot, but you get over it, you either get a drop or not it was never a big deal for me. All those npes that never multi-boxed now need to get a unique name
