So you want to test out a knife and the skin changing programs dont really help and you're scared you might get a Vac while using the program, well not to worry :3 This here will explain how to try out each knife in csgo without um o-o using tools. This doesnt get you VAC ._. fyi you can only trigger a false VAC if you join a multiplayer match. Playing Bots wont trigger anything so please dont worry.
1. So you want to go into your computer and you want to locate your csgo folder. It should be in program files (x64)/steam/steamapps/common/csgo
2. You want to then click the script folder and click items. If you have x32 its the same.
3) Once you are in the items folder you should see a file you can open with notepad. You want to duplicate that file and save the original one on your desktop

4. Then open the program with note pad and you should see all these scripts or values. You then want to press control+F and it should bring up like a search bar or something.
5. In the search box put in ''weapons_knife'' and click on search 3 times.
6. After the search it should bring you to 42. "name" "weapon_knife"
7. Scroll down to model_player and you should see something like this:

"item_name" "#SFUI_WPNHUD_Knife"
"item_description" "#CSGO_Item_desc_Knife"
"item_quality" "normal"
"baseitem" "1"
"default_slot_item" "1"
"item_sub_position" "melee"
"image_inventory" "econ/weapons/base_weapons/weapon_knife"
"model_player" "models/weapons/v_knife_default_ct.mdl"
"model_world" "models/weapons/w_knife_default_ct.mdl"
8. go to model_player and replace the models/weapons/v_knife_default_ct.mdl with one of the knife codes you want to use which will be posted down below this. This is the CT player side so only when on CT you can view it. If you scroll down or up you can find the T side and just do the same as what you did in CT.
9. now go to model_world and replace it with what you just replaced for model_player and dont forget to change the /v to /w in model_world or else it could screw your game up.
10. Save the file and enjoy your brand new knife. Only you can see it and this only works for playing with bots. This does not work in multiplayer or any offical valve servers. Using this on offical servers will get you kicked and false VAC

Bayonet - models/weapons/v_knife_bayonet.mdl
Flip Knife - models/weapons/v_knife_flip.mdl
Gut Knife - models/weapons/v_knife_gut.mdl
Karambit - models/weapons/v_knife_karam.mdl
M9 Bayonet - models/weapons/v_knife_m9_bay.mdl
Huntsman Knife - models/weapons/v_knife_tactical.mdl
Butterfly Knife - models/weapons/v_knife_butterfly.mdl
Falchion Knife - models/weapons/v_knife_falchion_advanced.mdl
Shadow Daggers - models/weapons/v_knife_push.mdl
Bowie Knife - models/weapons/v_knife_survival_bowie.mdl
