Tutorial new save Prestige 3

I don't see why you guys are having issues, it's pretty simple, the file you used to replace your profile save with (the one you pre-download from here or other site I dont know) the modded one, put your ID like you always do and just add C pretty simple in my opinion;
if you're a newbie, let me explain it further;

1) Go to the userdata where your profile is (if you don't know wheres is that, then just try to put more efforts into reading other topics)
2) go to your profile files, you will see two files there, the one that has the C in it.
3) I personally copied my ID, add C to the profile name at the end, and replaced it with the original file, seems like it worked for me.

make sure to always turn off your steam cloud as developers collect data that way.

In my chase the problem just is that the file seems to be like outdated and were uploaded in a past season. So the game always overwrited my accievments and brought it back to the old version. Due to that as an indicator of the process i always recieved the massage of a "new season that has been started"...soall i need ( and i guess many others too) is a fresh uploaded file from a person with a actually maxed out profile. (maybe even tha new characters)

Thanks for the tip OP, worked like a charm, feels good to have my save back after losing it in an HDD failure.

After all the action, in the folder created a clean save file.

i tried your instruction, but it keep resetting..
i have BP 170k, all prestige 3..
if i spent my BP and close DBD, it keep resetting to 170k
already tried with DLC on / off

please help me.
