did you get it to work?

I haven't had issues reapplying it to the account it originated to and also had no issues importing to a fresh smurf account. Is it loading the profile at all for you? Or is it resetting your rank as well as not loading the save at all?

How do I use this without it resetting my rank back to 1 and bloodpoints to 0?

I've replaced the files but it just resets me to level 1. When i relaunch with my backup, my backup works so I'm not really sure what the problem is if anyone could help.

I have the same problem, every save does this, even tried resetting steam.

I feel like I'm missing a step here.

I'm putting the save file into the correct folder, renaming it, backing up the original save file, and then launching DBD. Then, I'm all LVL 1 and Rank 1 with 0 Bloodpoints.

I'm guessing I'm noobing it up somehow.

I know save files seem to be hit and miss since 1.1. My best results have been with steam cloud of course turned off, transferring profile, reinstalling dbd. Hope it at least works for someone, I see there's other threads with troubleshooting saves since 1.1 as well, maybe resources there can help people having issues as well.

Do I delete all content by dead by daylight then reinstall it? with the save in the right location? my cloud is turned off and no data is saved in it.

Anytime I change profiles I've done it without the game currently installed. I am absolutely no expert in any of this however, I just saw the multitude of posts still requesting profile saves containing Nurse and Nea content and knew mine could be useful. After any basic steps of troubleshooting I really won't be of much help. I also re-enable cloud after the reinstall too, which to my understanding based on peer input in these forums, is extremely risky. But it's a smurf account so my concerns are limited.

In order to create the second type of file do you just rename profjce to profje or is there a second file I'm missing?

They've did something and now if you use profiles you will be flagged as a cheater in-game, so u guys should stop
