i got my ipod and i wanted to know if it was posssible for people to upload paid apps to like limewire or sumthing
and then we download it
like madden 10 is 6.99$ on itunes
what if someone took the file from their itune library and uploaded it to limewire

and if this has already been done
can someone share a link???

Its called Jail Breaking ur ipod... Try Google or Youtube if u want more info...

Jailbreak it. Look it up on youtube. Once you jailbreak it look up on youtube "How to download installous on jailbroken ipod". Installous is an app you can get once you jailbreak an ipod to get any app for free. You will not break your ipod(unless you are a complete idiot).

I thought most jailbreakers installed installous or cydia by default, unless you unchecked it..

You need to
A ) Setup SSH connection(or w\e it's called) to Ipod.
B ) Send shiz to iPod.

I haven't done anything w\ the iPod recently, but it should be clear how to setup + it should come with instructions. Just browse the IPod until you find all the directories of apps, then put yours in(The app consists of a executable file and some metadata(idk what kind) inside of a folder. If it doesn't come with metadata, don't put it in, as you won't see it).

Search "blackra1n"....It's not hard to jailbreak. Also when you do there's an APP that comes with it where you can download all of the APP's for free.

Cydia is a piece of shit, I don't use it munch, but they're like bittorrent now. O HAI GUISE, WE THINK IT'S WRONG TO TORRENT SOFTWARE BUT WE'RE HYPOCRITES GIVING YOU THE TOOLS TO DO IT.
