Incoming new update, Problems

I was informed lately that Niantic will be disabling the use of older versions on their applications. And at the moment that they do this all bots will be offline due to the bots using 0.33. Any confirmations if this is true? The botting scene will be in a slight danger.

It's been spread around a lot, but I don't think I've seen any confirmations yet. When that happens it'll be shared here.

Just received the following message from someone investigating the update.

I think there's no changes when it comes on botting,Niantic didn't do any actions regarding to the bot accounts from their last updates,
I was thinking they getting a hard time to detect which account/s used to bot because most of the botter now using a human config.
That's why they mostly based the banning of accounts right now on reporting by users.

We recommend all users to STOP USING CATCHEM, as no legit player can play on POGO APK 0.35 without updating. You will most likely be refused service when attempting to bot with Catchem, from now on. All countries are currently forced to update.
What's Catchem's Future? Will We Update?

We will update and continue as soon as the newer APK's are Reverse Engineered.
How long will that take?

As soon as it's done, we will work on getting Catchem up-to-speed. Check back often.

botting won't change because they update.. it just means there will be downtime whilst everyone recovers.

Catchem works fine for me as of right now. Using V1.5.3.0

I hope it really doesn't come down to having to wait for a while as they reverse engineer the APK...

Niantic is taking this too seriously IMO especially when the game is slightly dying I guess. Do we know when trading will be out? I feel like that is the most important thing to work on rather than updating APIs.

Cheating pretty much devalues every aspect of the game in my opinion. I think they aren't taking cheating seriously enough... not that I have a problem with it.

I mean I can see why they want to ban cheaters, especially when they're planning on releasing trading.
