Would a latency cheat be possible?

This game favors high ping players due to the peekers advantage. So would a latency cheat be possible?

That's one way of getting the job done.

You can start downloading some random file with your torrent downloader and set the download speed as much low as you want to obtain the ping increase you need

It would be but it raises the risk of BE detecting it, and their servers would auto kick you from the game if the ping reaches a persistent 200 or more ping

Welp, if that's the case I would've been banned in every single multiplayer game I've ever played if all of them ran BattlEye. My average ping is 250. It only rarely goes below 200, and if it does, it's only 190.

how it works?

just torrent something while playing r6 and your ping will significantly increase. why do you want this cheat anyway, sure you would get some advantage on peaking corner but you will have a very bad time on 1v1?

Using lag switch doesn't work well at all, the lag comes after 4~6 sec and you teleport even if you shoot someone and not moving he won't take any dmg.

So no lag switch?
