I personally had a spare 17" monitor around the house, So u dual screened. Love it.

yeah i normally have mine hooked as well but im at my mates place atm.

I Triple Screen all day long on my WindTop P Series (VGA, Composite) I use The Composite out on my windtop to connect to a flatscreen which monitors software/asp.net (web applications)/websites in realtime (auto refresh) While designing on the main screen and use the left monitor for viewing content on websites (like mpgh.net) ,

No it doesn't really matter I think 17" is the minumum otherwise it's really ugly and not usefull.
You can use two screens for coding, or moddeling for example.

the only way it would be good, is it you used the same sized screen on both. and if youre going to game, tripple screen would be best because on dual, your crosshair would be lost.
