Sorry admin for the possible double post but the old one got locked rather quickly... 
1. The aforementioned solution is basically useless. The windows magnifier is laggy with anything more than a text document and its extremely inconvenient. Props for the good idea though, I wouldnt have thought of it.
2. No real answer to the second question. Is there any way I could switch the files around?

Playin in a server thatll ban you for using sniper scopes, so I was wondering if there was a hack to zoom in, other than just aiming down sights. could say bind it to z or alt.
On a related note, what if I changed the weapon model names for the guns? So that I could have a sniper but it shows up as a rifle or something else? not entirely sure how thatd work, just thinking out loud.
