Registry key

Sup dudes
you know that after a software is installed in your pc , a key is added to your registry.
well i wanna learn how to delete that registry.
once i knew what to do,but i forgot...
it was something about typing in the *run* box and then you go to registry key zone,bullshit like that..
help ^_^
