Yes you can do that.

You can also download AVG antivirus.
Turn off AVG self protection.
Inject Into AVG
Then turn on AVG self protection.
And play.

I think you can do it with avast antivirus too.

Do you think you could shed some light on how to do that? I'm currently developing a cheat and would like it to be a USB Hub cheat and this might help me.

Yes, but I wouldn't inject into a known application. Get like a 32bit application that does nothing and is unknown or make your own 32bit application.
