VAC question

If I got banned form COD MW2, can i still play Counter strike source? Or does VAC ban you from every single game?

Yes you can,only cod6 multiplayer in block.

VAC bans by game engine, not account-wide.

Correct, you must make a new account or your 60 dollars/50 euros/whatever will go to waste, as the CD key will be insta-banned the moment you activate it on an MW2 banned account(the legality of this is questionable).
