Yes would be good to have a rez editor but well me and Qwertybob are working on something a little bigger right now.

Rex editor is not the problem it's trying to unpack the code into the original file/s.

How do i delete the RF017.rez? if im ingame it says, CF needs it. If i do it when CF isn't running, and start CF, it says cant start, its missing..

I have the same problem when i try to delete it ingame it says i cant delete it because the file is in use

Its not rocket science guys, you just have to have quick deletion skizzles.

Open up ../z8games/crossfire/rez and get ready to delete rf017...

Run crossfire and wait till the patcher_cf and HCGW or w/e its called disappears...

Quickly delete rf017 before crossfire loads up... SIMPLE!

the RF017.REZ when i try to delete it in game it saids file in use of program so what point in the game do i delete it?

As you load Crossfire ,

After the patcher has run but before the game is fully loaded (login screen)
