Do you get banned currently from overwatch for using external cheats?

How can they detect it? They can't really if you aren't using the overlay feature.
Or if you are way too obvious and get video reported by someone.

Or is there still a risk then?

Some people say they got banned. If you also got banned did you use the compiled .exe or the .ahk file?

The overwatch client has cheat detection built in. Its relatively easy for them to watch for running processes and flag specific accounts based on those processes.

I haven't done any reversing so I'm not sure how far it goes, but it can watch for different clicking calls (post message, send message, send input). Or it might hook system calls for move mouse and sending input. There are tools you can use to test if it hooks system calls without reversing anything too.

ive been cheating for like a month with a private cheat, only got called out once, and im pretty sure .ahk is detected and can get you insta ban, so :P
