How do I debug a .swf/.exe client
I have currently a lot of spare time, after the gym. So I was wondering if anyone in this forum section, could explain me how I debug a .swf or an .exe client.

What programs do you use?

Why? you may ask. Well. I want to edit the clients, and see how they work.

JPEXS for swf:

You'd have to extract the swf from the .exe to do the same.

Load it from memory
I havent used the debug option in JPEXS so im not too familiar with that way of debugging, but anytime i want to see some sort of output i will add trace() commands into the client code where i need to see something. Then i use the debug version of flash projector (download from the same place you download the regular flash projector) to open the client and it will output any trace() commands and other debugging related output to a log file for me.

JPEXS debugging allows you to add breakpoints to as3 code, and view the variables during debugging.
