I'm having an issue with my Macbook Pro as it will not show my Kali Linux bootable thumb drive in the boot menu?

I am on macOS Sierra and have a Early 2015 mbp.

Any suggestions?

Also, when I do get this issue fixed would someone be able to lecture me on WiFi cracking/brute forcing? I'm passionate to learn.
