well,i had iPhone once and defently i will not buy again.Now i have samsung s6 edge + and let me explain.
When i had iPhone 3g,i was using it about 1,5 years.When apple released 2 version of iOs that i was using ( dont remember which one it was) , I had to download this version in case i wanted to download something from the app store.So i went to download latest iOS version.But i couldnt couse it wasnt supported from my device.In conclusion,i couldnt download or update any of the apps,so the "smart" thing of the iphone desapeared and i could just do calls and send messages.
So,now i am using samsung galaxy s6 edge plus,and i would never had any problem.Moreover samsung's devices prices are keep dropping,so you can find any device in low cost.
Update: let me explain more.
If you read what i wrote but you cant decide yet you have to consider:
What use are you doing to your phone?
I mean,from my experience,i would choose iphone only if i would like to do simply things,just to surf on websites or take pictures,chat etc.Apple dont gives you a high viriaty of uses on your phone.
In the other hand samsung as every android device will let you do w/e you wish with your device.
Iphone, easy to operate, for blondes. Samsung, harder to operate, for cewl dudes.

Iphone is very easy to use. With Samsung it's very easy to download things and make it custom.
I'd choose iPhone as iOS updates often and it's easy to use. I also got it for free.
If I were to get an iPhone it would be the 6S and not the 7.
