Hello guy, i surf around the forum and i didn't find when i have a BTX or DTX file i dont know what is the right spell but what sould i do with it ?? like for modding a gun .. i have a BTX and i dont know what should i do with it loll sorry for my bad english im not english.

.DTXs are textures for guns, maps, chars...

.LTBs are the materials for guns, maps, chars...

no, i want to do where i put the file for having my mod.. like i download a mod .rar and in that file its .btx file .. where i put this , in my game folder like the .rez ??

No, you have to inject into the correct .rez file

The .rez files in the game folder are each for different gun classes. GUNS_T_PV_AR for example is Textures of Assault Rifles. GUNS_T means texture and GUNS_M is model. Since it is a .dtx texture mod you would inject into the GUNS_T file of the correct gun class.

ok i'll test it .

it didn'T work. i got your ump to gold alixl2 and in rezinject, where we have the ... for select a file , i select gun_T_AR cus it for make the ump gold.. after i select the correct .DTX inject , it give me a error.. and i press continue. after injection completed and it didn'T work. someone can answer ?

Actually, I judge harshly on MODS. But nicely said. I was always careful with what I'm doing when I'm new so I don't get flamed like "HOLY SHIT!"
