Steam Overlay Problem

Hello, anyone have problem with steam overlay? i could not make it to work and as a result cannot take screen to achieve a goal. I tried looking for solution and still does not work, going to search more solution but in the meantime ... do you guys think it depends on laptop spec? i use a shitty laptop atm...

old thread but...i was able to use the steam overlay, on my still-potato-quality laptop. I guess its a combination of certain games+laptop quality. Hence, solved.
