It's a good build, exactly the same main parts as mine, just different vendors. The PC will run VR titles perfectly fine.

Are you going to use that build for gaming only ? if yes you can downgrade your processor to I5 6600k. Overall your build is awesome

Depending on how long you take to save the money parts may become outdated or drop in price. It is better to save all of the money up and then purchase everything you need around one of the various holiday sales throughout the year, like Newegg's usual forth of July sales.

You could save a lot of cash on the psu. Go for something around 500W instead.
You could go for a 128gb or 256gb ADD to store your OS on for faster boost time, and a couple of your favorite games so they load faster.
