Running cheat engine in the background doesn't lead to VAC ban, only if you attached it to csgo. I dumped the VAC modules a few times to get a better picture of what it's doing, and i can confirm that vac ONLY bans you if it finds a blacklisted process running in the background which OPENS A HANDLE to the game. Briefly, they don't ban you for running a process ("exe"), which doesn't do anything with the game. Also i accidentally let CE/IDA to run in the background while i was playing matchmaking multiple times, and i never got banned for that.
yes you can get banned from scripts like everything else do not believe the nubs on here they are beginner.
