Express VPN help?

Question hopefully someone can help me with, I bought a express VPN account. I'm going to be selling stuff on eBay and want my IP address hidden.

If the owner of the account was to change his Password would the express VPN App on my phone stop working and reveal my IP address?

Hope someone could help and be best just maybe paying for the full year or maybe using a different VPN app that wouldn't give up my IP.

Ps I haven't started using the account yet, still on my 7 day trial til i figure this one out.

A: All I know is that if VPN is off on ExpressVPN it shows your real IP. In addition to that, I would believe that if the owner of the express VPN account was to change his password then of course it would either automatically sign you out, disconnect you or it wouldn't work i guess.
