Crossfire dont work

I have cf on my pc and it works pefect but in my laptop it dont make the new patch it always say "fail to download version.ini." ´what could be the reason

and on my friends pc it also dont wotk it always say runtime error

idk..i use a labtop and it works fine..u might just have a bad labtop

AND CHECK IF FIREWALL/ANTIVIRUS HAS OR HASENT BLOCKED YOUR UPDATE ON CF !!!!!!!!!!
