PSN Account DLC Question

I have purchased Destiny Collection on an EU account from here, I am in the EU and my main account is EU, can I buy a level 40 character boost on my main account and will it work with the game considering its technically not on my account?

As long as the character is linked to your account specifically then yes it will work.
