Stuff like colored bodies doesn't seem as legit to me as something that just bumps up fire rate a tad

I dont think so... Modding is against CA Rules also same punishment as hacking lol.

Unless you're going to do like intro mods, UI mods, the non-gameplay types
then i find that pretty legit, it's just straight out badass or freaking funny as hell

naws, legit is with everything normal that not legit 
Say you're only changing the colour of your gun, then that may be considered legit but if you change colour of players so you can see them easier that's not.

But it would be harder to get ban with just modding.
When hacks are patched, I just use white people, is that a mode or hack?

I don't think that counts as hacking
Because it's Nexon's fault for not packaging the files into a safe and secure zip file or executable that can't be entered.
It's still counted as modding KING.

mods are definetly not legit.
well getting pink and yellow players, for me its kinda chamm! but texture like coke grenade :P its awsome xD
Super knife and fire rate increases aren't legit, but i say custom gun textures counts as legit :]
any mod that is just for looks and such is legit (in my opinion)
any mod that gives you a dis advantage is really legit

Yea, mods are okay, except when it's stuff like super-knife.
Steroid Mods are not legit
Ex: Chainsaw aka Super Knife
Texture Mods are not legit, but is legit for it is not a steroid mod
Ex: M416 to M416 CAMO
