How are Mods analyizing a file?
Reason of this thread is a) My Release Thread got deleted and b) I am getting mass spammed on Skype.
So there is one thing i dont seem to understand.
The past 4 weeks i released my HookTronic Cheat without any kind of problem nearly daily. Now the last one got locked and the one before got deleted.
I asked what happened and i get an answer "We are analyzing your file". Okay thats good i dont have anything against analyzing since no one wants to
download virusses. But what i dont understand is that i see cheats here being approved right after 10 mins of creating the thread.
What are you doing in these 10 minutes? I seriously dont understand especially considering that my latest releases took you 2 days and the file is still
not approved. In 10 mins you can look up virustotal, check strings if encrypted or not check internet connection. All possible. But what will you do if there is an unpacked file and a packed file that should be approved?
Even packed files are being approved within 10 mins if an unpacked file was sent. At first this seems logical but believe or not its pure bullshit.
I could send you an unpacked file and let the obfuscated file where i would hide a virus be approved. Not a single mod would notice the virus when
"analyzing" the file.
Okay if we now accept this routine as correct and usual how comes my cheat is not approved within 2 Days even tho i released regularly cheats
within the past 4 weeks? If you check my older threads you will notice that sometimes my obfuscated file got approved within 10 mins.
So you basically tell me that you are not analyzing a file correctly until some random kid comes and says its a virus because his super shitty anti virus
triggered a false detection. Then suddenly my thread gets deleted and the file is being "analyzed" deeper. since 48h. How does this make sense?
None of the 3 mods in the cs:go section have experiences in reverse-engineering meaning my file would techniqually be analyzed till forever.
Since the amount of skills equals 0.000001 the time a true anlyze should end would be 10000000000000000000 mins.
Why dont you "analyze" a file correctly before random kids tell you it might be a virus?
Just my 2 cents that this approval routine in the csgo section is pure bullshit.
Have Fun.
