Target refund limit?

I have done refund with Target, pretty easy and simple for order under $250. But I want to refund something around $400 before tax.
What is the real limit here? I have heard someone refund more than $400 with police report required.

I do it very high using my method, but with public method you can go up to 400 without problems.

Lol if it's his private method i think you can interpret his message as "the limit is ~400 unless you use my service".

Public Method would be best under 500~ IMO, First of all i'm not a rapper...

just did a $616 with never arrived depends on the rep you get.

I just got refunded an apple watch of $750 on Target. Just called and told them it's never arrived.

400 with public, up to 600 if you're experienced.

Is $400 before or after tax? Can I order something that is $399 before tax?
