Wifi problems,

So i have searched and i cant find anything on the internet about my problem, so basically ill be watching a youtube video and my chrome will stop responding and my wifi will have no internet access and then, i go try and turn the wifi on my computer of and on or disconnect and reconnect and that also freezes, so all i can do is close my laptop, wait 5 minutes then reopen and reconnect any ideas?

So is this a problem with your laptop or WiFi? Try see if the same problem occurs on a different device, if it does call up your ISP.

I think it might be a virus or some sort of problem with the laptop itself. Because the wifi from your modem shouldn't mean your chrome stops responding...

it did have a virus and i factory reset it

Try also resetting your wifi modem (make sure you have your ISP username and pass before you do, if you don't call them and tell them you want to reset your modem, they will provide you with it). You might have a virus again, so you might want to try another reset on the laptop

just call your internet provider,it is more likley theyll fix it instead anyone from mpgh

Most likely not your wifi to blame. Either outdated wifi settings, or you have a virus.

I had a laptop like 10 years ago when I was a newb and visited sites that aren't safe. My laptop also acted weird, wifi didn't work properly, malware came up and such. A factory reset didn't fix it. A guy came in and did a factory reset, virus scans, registry cleaning, defragmenting, name it.
It worked properly afterwards.
