Refund Google Store question

Ive asked around on a few threads about google store refunds being done with the in-store financing option that google has. Particularly for a Pixel XL.

Some sellers have told me no, some have said its no problem. Has anyone actually done a refund for a store financed purchase from the google store?

I wasn't aware an in-store financing option existed. Just give it a try, what do you have to lose?
