Upgrade suggestions?
Hi all,

Currently I own a PC that was built in June 2015, lately my PC is not fast enough for my daily use. Other than playing with League of Legends, I tend to play Rainbow Six Siege, World of Warcraft and many other games. Below is my full PC list:

CPU: Intel i5 4690K (OC'ed to 4300 4200 4100 4100 mhz for Core #0 1 2 3 respectively)
GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB (tried to OC, but somehow getting unstable, thus reverting back to clock)
MBD: Asus B85M-G (this is actually a temp replacement as my previous ga z97 hd3 is not working)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 16GB (8GBx2) (Dual channel of course)
SDD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
HDD: Seagate 1TB
PSU: Coraair CX600M

Managed to play slightly over 60 on R6:Siege but somehow not being able to have a steady FPS on World of Warcraft even at medium settings. I only play at 1920x1080.

For the budget, as I am not quite sure what to change for this PC build, if eventually only a graphic card has to be changed, I would probably say a budget roughly @USD 300.

Thank you for everyone spending time on reading this post, your help is much appreciated
You're probably mostly CPU bound in WoW. Care to show us utilization in raids? People also have said they gain more FPS from putting WoW on a SSD.

Thanks for your reply. I did try to put WOW on a SSD, but only very minimal increase to FPS. I did not have much addons either, only DBM. For the display settings I have, from 1-10, I adjusted it to 5. During raids, FPS jumps up and down, sometimes it hits 70+, while occasionally drops to 20+. Tried to switch VSync on and off, but to no avail.

Utilization as in what % of the GPU is and what % the CPU is at during raids.
the only thing you can change without a rather big investment is the gpu, cause if you were to buy a new cpu, youd have to spend huge amounts on a new mobo and ram aswell and this adds up really fast then
Probably change your ram to DDR4
I'd recommend the GTX 1060 6g variants for that budget since the RX 580s are out of stock on newegg probably due to miners :<

Upgrading the rest of your system will far exceed your budget at this stage and for very little gain. Once you get your z97 motherboard back you could try overclocking the cpu a bit more.

Regards
your pc is fine for most things and does not need an upgrade, in terms of gaming at 1080p your graphic card is fine, and for most day to day tasks your cpu is also fine, if you are planning to upgrade the GPU go for gtx 1070 and upgrade to 1440p, this is how you get the most out of your graphic card so if you upgrade make sure the upgrade is worth it and you get the most out of it.
