ebay refund problem

selling an item on ebay and then doing a cancellation/refund to the buyer results in money taken out your bank account if paypal doesn't have a balance on the account, I think instead i should sell on mpgh because no fees and no money holds

shouldn't it just refund the original payment though?

I know that's what i thought but something called a ddr payment has been taken out of my bank account
