Thread Bumping Question

I've recently gotten a couple of infractions for bumping my thread. Although I understood both of them at the end, I want to clarify the rule for thread bumping as Hero gave me a warning on my profile. To overview, I posted a few hours early before it had been 24 hours, but this was in reply to customers asking me to add them on Skype and a question on my thread. So I was wondering if this is infraction worthy and why? As I don't quite understand why it's considered a bump if you're replying to customers and just doing a User Service. I understand how saying "thank you" and such on your thread can be considered a bump, but replying to customers should not be.

A bump is any reply you make on your thread in the market place section(s) before the 24 hours are up.

There is a VM/PM system in place for you to confirm and contact each other. MPGH is just for confirmation, you normally do the talking on Skype so no reason why VMing is impossible

sleeping 8 hour doesnot count a new day. Buy a watch with my 5$ you stole, that will help solve your problem.
