How safe is it to hack on css?

I know that css hasn't updated in a long time so i'm just wondering how safe it is.

Private cheats are working 100%.
What about public build - just use a newest one.

Probably, when you're downloading any public cheat, you can spot somewhere a tag - Detected /or/ Undetected.

SMAC - is working,i think probably private hack can be detected too, i don't risk to use hacks in main account.
