How to render pictures..?
Im a skid so basically I don't quite know much about this, so basically I came here for help, again, yeet. Okay so I found this picture when I was looking for inspiration for a menu

i.imgur.com/rjm04Gk.jpg

And I got curious as to how they did it. I know that it renders something, but what and how?

Feel free to either call me the lowest of low, spoonfeed me or give me a hint and point me into the right direction. Any sort of reply is welcome

Cheers & thx <3 ^^

P.S. The menu itself looks absolutely awful, I know, I'm not gonna use this as an inspiration, just got curious as to how to do it.
[DirectX]
Map the image to array, use DirectX to create the file, then just draw it...

Code:
...create the texture
IDirect3DTexture9* something = nullptr;

auto hTex = D3DXCreateTextureFromFileInMemory(g_pD3DDevice, _data, _datasize, &something);
if (!SUCCEEDED(hTex))
{
	pD3D->Release();
	UnregisterClass(m_hWndClass.lpszClassName, m_hWndClass.hInstance);
	return false;
}
...then u can use something as drawprimitive to draw "something".

edit:
You can also use D3DXCreateTextureFromFileEx but looks awful having the image there.
